Finally recovering from the weekend!!! Spent Friday and Saturday in Big Bear!!! NoOooOO snowboarding .... doubt I'll be able to board since my knee! We get to Big Bear at about 10:30pm on friday, and Alex wants to start fishing!!! Yeah ... I was already on 3 hours of sleep! hahah I ended up sleeping on a bench while they fished ... I looked like some homeless filipino in 6 layers of cloths! HAHA! They didn't catch anything that night! So we get up early Saturday morning and decide to float tube the lake!!! We had to ninja a private community to launch our float tubes! It wasn't bad at first ... but after about 3 hours on the water ... I started losing feelings in my leg! HAHAH! But we gotta suck it up! I caught 1 beautiful loooking trout! Way better looking than these other trout in these Pay Lakes! We get a call from the ladies and they said they have lunch for us waiting at my truck! w000t! We're off for lunch! We decide to fish one last spot on the backside of the island ... me and Alex finished the trip with 3 gorgeous trout each!! I'm definitely doing this again!!!

Welp finally an update ......

Biggest thing that's happened in the last month or so ... is that I sold my car ..... well .... actually it went like this ....

My Parents were gonna be getting a car for Paul, Katie wants a car to drive (Corolla) ..... and I've been taking my IS300 fishing, camping, filling it with crap, etc ..... so I was like DAMNIT I NEED A TRUCK. I've been eyeing one for a while now .... and now I might have an opportunity to get one. I talked it over with everyone that was gonna be involved ... and this is what went down ...

Katie gets the Corolla ... so she's Happy ...... I sell my car to my parents .... they use whatever money they were gonna put onto my brothers car into my loan and take over my payments on the IS300. So Paul gets a 2002 Lexus IS300 .... so he's happy. Now ...... what is Rod gonna get!!?!?!?! ..........

I got a 2005 Nissan Titan. That's 305hp on a 5.6 Liter V8 Engine. It's a crew cab ... and COMFORTABLY fits 5 people. Had to look for a vehicle that I can have for the next few years .... family car yah know ... hehe. I've had it for about a month now .... I've put my g000dies in there ..... yah know you gotta ride in comfort yah know! heheh. Anyhow I've already taken it fishing .... cruising .... stuffed it with all kinds of crap! So yeah .... it fits my lifestyle! hehe!!

Jenn and I met up with Robert on my day off! Started to fish around 9:00ish! Nothing but needlefish caught for the first hour or so! Then Robert hooks up with a Bonita. We decide to use livebait .... started off a bit slow with the livebait!!!! But just as Robert and I were about to head and make bait .... his rod goes screaming!!

He catches a Ray ..... one of many we caught throughout the day.
